The Americas Colloquium at LMU Munich’s Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology, led by Prof. Dr. Eveline Dürr, provides an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas on current and planned research on North, Central and South America. The focus is on social, cultural and environmental issues, as well as dialogue between researchers and stakeholders from the region.
The events take place in different formats. The language varies depending on the topic and may be German, English, Spanish or Portuguese. Students from all semesters are warmly welcome.
